In the last 12 years, my husband Pat and I have been a cruise travel specialists, sells thousands of cruise ship vacations--and taking dozens of cruises. We have learned a lot along the way. One of the inescapable truth is that cruise line pricing can be just "wee little scammer unless you know how to interpret the pricing.

"But $ 599 is what the ad says," you have to say. And that is the truth, but it does not cover everything you need to anticipate in order to enjoy a cruise vacation.
